The Sydney Distance Education Primary School came into being after the closure of the NSW Correspondence School in 1990. Distance Education was established to meet the changing needs of NSW families who required a modern means of learning at a distance. SDEPS specialises in supporting families from NSW who are travelling within Australia and overseas.

SDEPS has grown into the largest and most innovative distance education school in NSW. Our academic results demonstrate that our school is a leading educational institution at a national level.
